Area Rug Cleaning
Area rugs and other delicate rugs can be ruined by traditional, improper cleaning methods - damaging fibers, bleeding colors, and leaving a messy residue. At Zerorez®, we use an effective cleaning process to make sure that your area rug will look beautiful again. While some rugs may be cleaned in the home, other rugs may need to return to our shop for a more delicate clean.

We Treat Your Rugs with Care
1. Inspection
A Master Rug Technician will carefully inspect your rug, looking for spots or stains and for any needed repairs before they begin cleaning your rug.
2. Dust Removal
Rugs are “dusted” mechanically to remove as much dry soil as possible prior to the cleaning process. This careful method puts less strain on the fibers in the rug. Stains and problem spots are pre-treated if necessary.
3. Washing
Rugs are washed in water using cleaning agents specific to each rug’s condition. Controlled washing practices remove soil, stains and odor causing residues. Migration of un-stable color is managed.
4. Rinsing
Rugs are flushed with water and rinsed completely, removing all remaining traces of soil.
5. Drying
Finally, all water is extracted and rugs are air-dried, usually in a matter of hours.
6. Final Inspection
After the rug is thoroughly dry, a Master Rug Technician will inspect it again. Each rug will be examined, brushed, vacuumed and groomed to look its best. The rug will be rolled and bound for delivery back to your home.

At Your Convenience
We will schedule a date and time to pick up your rugs right from your home. We take them back to our facility for our rug masters to carefully inspect your rug, looking for any spots and stains before cleaning your rug. After they are cleaned, we will drop them off and place them right back in your home.
